Geospatiale (from Benerian geo [geographical] + spatiale [spatial]), also known as UF/Geospatiale, is a CLI-GIS/developer framework used mainly by Confoederatio, Research Division (CRD) in geospatial applications such as Naissance GIS, Constele, Stadestér, Velkscala, or Eoscala, mainly for cross-file and cross-format support, as well as parsing and manipulating gridmap data over differing timeseries.
Plans have been made to mature the extant framework into Geospatiale II, which will utilise GeoJSON as a medium between vector datasets and Geospatiale PNGs (.png) as a medium between raster datasets. Legacy optioning for specific datasets (i.e. specific options for SEDAC data) will also be removed in favour of a more generalisable approach.
Documentation for UF/Geospatiale has been split by different developer versions as seen below. Information on which CRD projects are currently using which version of UF/Geospatiale will be updated monthly.
